Primavera P6 construction scheduling class taught by Toll's President

Toll's President Mr. Nure Aiza to teach a new Primavera P6 construction scheduling summer class at Baruch College. Class will be held at Baruch College's Graduate School on Wednesdays from 6:15 PM to 9:00 PM for a duration of 8 weeks beginning on 6/20/2012. Course Syllabus:

This course provides hands-on training for Primavera’s client/server based solution. Participantswill gain a thorough background in the concepts of planning and scheduling. Schedulingtechniques will be covered. This course leads you through hands-on workshops that create andtrack an entire project to completion. All workshops and instruction use the three basic elementsof project management: schedule, resource and costs.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

- Create a project with activities and resources

- Calculate a schedule Analyze resource/cost data

- Compare current vs. target schedules

AT THE COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:

- Add a Project to the Project Structure

- Create a Work Breakdown Structure

- Add Activities Add Codes to Activities

- Create Relationships Schedule a Project

- Add Constraints Organize Activities

- Assign Resources and Costs Analyze Resource/Cost Usage

Toll awarded multiyear contract to provide schedule management services for Princeton University's Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment

Toll awarded multiyear contract to provide schedule management services for the construction of Princeton University's Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment.

Princeton University is in the midst of building laboratory, office, and lecture spaces to house the Andlinger Center. The project is designed by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects. Take a look at the architectural renderings and construction webcams for a view of the work in progress.

The project is expected to meet the equivalent of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver standards.
A complex of three buildings and several gardens will provide 127,000 square feet of new space.
The expected completion date is March 2015.
